What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a facial exfoliation treatment, new to Clearskin Clinic, Dublin. Our trained therapists gently scrape the surface of your skin with a surgical scalpel to remove dead skin and peach fuzz hair from the face.
Dermaplaning is the first step in our Million Dollar Facial but it is also available as a single, stand alone treatment.
How does it work?
Up to 3 – 4 weeks worth of dead skin and facial hair can be removed during one Dermaplaning treatment, leaving you with wonderfully soft and glowing skin.
With dead skin removed it means that any active ingredients applied to the skin can be absorbed up to 80% more. This is why it is so beneficial to combine this treatment as part of the Million Dollar Facial.
Only the fine, vellus hair is removed on the surface of the skin so it will not grow back darker or thicker than before.
